New  reproduction 1967 Ford 428 Police Interceptor Shelby GT500 harmonic balancer C6AE-6312-A with correct factory timing marks. 

This is a high quality reproduction of the original 428 Police Interceptor harmonic balancer. This balancer started life as a new 427 balancer and we modified it for 428 P.I. application. 

The 428 P.I. balancer is the same as the 427 balancer with the exception of the 45 degree taper on each side of the large diameter. These were made from the original Ford blue prints and is identical with the exception of the Ford markings. This is a fully balanced new replacement unit that will eliminate the old balancer with dried out rubber which allows the timing marks to move. The originals are usually disfigured from years of installation and removal marks. Too many 67 GT500 Shelby’s are either missing the correct balancer or have originals that are not usable for various reasons.

We made a handful of these balancers to replace the original 428 PI unit and provide a correct looking one for your 67GT500 engine. The cast in timing mark notched in the pulley for the 427 pointer is still there and won’t be noticeable and can be left alone or filled for that perfect look. A great option that would be correct for all 66-67 428 Police Interceptor engines and 1967 GT500 Shelby engines.
