Front Apron, R-Model, for 67-68 Mustangs with integral headlight buckets and turn signal and brake cooling duct holes.

This is our own version of a 1965 R-model apron for your 1967-68 Mustang.  It took us months of prototype styling to come up with the perfect look.  Replaces factory headlight doors, lower valance, bumper and bumper brackets; this apron brings the style and function of the 1965 Shelby GT350 R-model to the 1967-68 cars.  Made with parking light holes, functional brake duct scoops and integral headlight buckets that eliminate the awkward lip where the front bumper used to be.  Everything blends smoothly with no corners cut to sacrifice styling.  Held closely to a weight of approximately 14 lbs, the total weight savings is 24.6 lbs (Note:  Shipping weight of 35 lbs includes shipping materials and carton).  Designed for hood pins, but can be adapted to retain the stock hood latch.  Made to be used with the standard Mustang length hood and finished in black gelcoat.  CANNOT use front bumper.  Complete with studs that bolt on using the stock mounting points.  Instructions included.  When shipped UPS, additional charges apply for oversized carton.
